God loves you and wants you to spend eternity in Heaven with Him. He has provided a way — please read on to discover how you can have eternal life.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Jesus, in John 14:6
Everyone is faced with reality. Reality is that we all are sinners and one day will die. When that happens, the Bible teaches us that we will either spend eternity with God in Heaven or eternity separated from God in hell. There is no way around this fact.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23
The natural tendency for us is to try and cover our sins, or to work off our sins and earn our way to Heaven, but this is not the way. The Bible says in Romans 6:23 that we deserve to pay for our sins.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23
God, in His great love for us, sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die in our place. Jesus Christ rose from the grave and offers us forgiveness of our sins. He offers us salvation — freedom from hell and eternal life in Heaven. This is God's amazing love for you and me.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
The Bible says if we will repent of our sins and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, we can be saved. If you are willing to humble yourself, seek God's forgiveness for all your sins and trust Jesus Christ to save you, based on His promise, He will save you.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:9, 13
Right Now
What an amazing promise. Right now, I invite you to call out to the Lord and to ask Him specifically to save you. When Christ saves us, He makes us a child of God.
